  1. What time does the noise ordinance go into effect?
    The same rules apply for noise violations 24 hours a day. There is no set time for noise to cease or begin.

  2. How are noise complaints handled?
    When a complaint is called in, responding officers will observe the property for a period of time to determine if it is in violation of the noise ordinance. Appropriate enforcement action will be taken if a violation is deemed to have occurred.

  3. What are our hours of operation?
    The Sea Isle City Police Department is open 24/7.

  4. What time are parking meters in effect?
    Parking meter times are 9:00am to 11:00pm Monday through Saturday and Noon to 11:00pm on Sunday.

    Parking meters are active May 15 to Labor Day.

  5. Where is the lost and found?
    The Sea Isle City Police Department does not have a “Lost and Found.” Recovered items are held in our evidence room for safe keeping after an attempt to contact the property owner if known. Once property is entered into evidence, it can only be released by a Detective. Contact the Sea Isle City Police Department non-emergency line and request an appointment to meet with a Detective to retrieve recovered property.

  6. How do you apply for a Handicap Parking spot?
    Contact our Traffic and Maintenance Department at bteefy@sicpd.us to apply.*Handicap Parking spots will not be issued to residents with available off-street parking.

  7. What are the times construction work is allowed to take place in town?
    Monday-Friday in the off season from7:00am to 8:00pm. Weekends and Holidays year round from 9:00am to 8:00pm. Monday to Friday in Summer 8:00am to 8:00pm.

  8. When is trash day?
    Summer (begins the week before Memorial Day) 1st to 44th streets, Wednesday & Saturday 45th to 70th streets, Monday & Thursday 71st to 94th streets, Tuesday & Friday.

  9. Who do I call if my power is out?
    Please reach out to Atlantic City Electric for all electrical issues. You can report an outage right on their website at AtlanticCityElectric.com or by calling 1-800-642-3780. Report all other Utility Outages to the correct company, i.e. Comcast, Verizon, etc.

  10. Who do I contact for boating accidents or boaters in distress in the back bays?
    Contact the State Police Marine Unit. Wildwood Barracks: 609-522-0393 or Atlantic City Barracks: 609-441-3586.

  11. Who do I contact for an incident on Sea Isle Boulevard or Strathmere?
    Woodbine, Strathmere, Upper Township, Dennisville, and Sea Isle Boulevard are all under the jurisdiction of the New Jersey State Police and can be reached at 609-861-5300.

  12. Who do I contact for an Ocean Incident?

  13. Where are the closest hospitals?
