Deceased Male Discovered in Sea Isle City

On 11/14/2023, at 06:26, Sea Isle Police received a 911 emergency call for an unconscious, unresponsive male in the area of the 3700 Block of Central Avenue. Upon arrival, Officers, and members of Sea Isle City Emergency Medical Service, discovered a 49-year-old male, without vital signs, down on the shoulder of Central Avenue. No visual evidence of trauma could be identified at the scene. A Forensic Nurse from the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office pronounced the male deceased at approximately 07:31.

The investigation is active and ongoing. The body has been taken to Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Officer for to determine a cause of death.

The name of the victim is not being released until family members can be notified.
